Stick with the Healthy Option

Dr. Richard Bazinet of the University of Toronto explains in The Star that while fat is not the villain it was thought to be during the low-fat era of the ‘80s and ‘90s, saturated fat is still not as healthy as oils, those that are high in omega-3 fat. Bazinet recommends replacing butter and vegetable oil with canola oil since it contains omega-3 fat.
