Right Fats, Longer Life
WebMD reported on the recent study from researchers at Harvard and published in JAMA Internal Medicine that connects the link between high-levels of saturated fats and mortality rate. The study, which followed over 126,000 people for three decades, found that those who consumed more unsaturated fats, like plant-based canola oil, lived longer than those who consumed high amounts of saturated fats and trans-fats.
Other media publications, including Food Navigator, CBC News and Science Daily, also reported on research findings urging consumers to choose unsaturated fats instead of saturated fats in their diet.
